{"id":317,"date":"2023-10-09T18:22:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-09T21:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dsalt.ciencias.ubiobio.cl\/?p=317"},"modified":"2025-06-05T18:22:58","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T21:22:58","slug":"investigador-del-proyecto-anillo-dsalt-participo-en-conferencia-en-portugal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dsalt.ciencias.ubiobio.cl\/index.php\/2023\/10\/09\/investigador-del-proyecto-anillo-dsalt-participo-en-conferencia-en-portugal\/","title":{"rendered":"Investigador del Proyecto Anillo \u2018dsalt\u2019 particip\u00f3 en conferencia en Portugal\u00a0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Manuel Solano afianz\u00f3 redes de colaboraci\u00f3n internacional para futuros proyectos\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante la primera semana de septiembre, se realiz\u00f3 el encuentro <a href=\"https:\/\/enumath2023.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>&#8216;European Conference on Numerical Mathematics and Advanced Applications (ENUMATH)<\/em>&#8216;<\/a> en el Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico de la Universidad de Lisboa en Portugal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta conferencia se define como un espacio para presentar y discutir avances novedosos y fundamentales en matem\u00e1ticas num\u00e9ricas y aplicaciones cient\u00edficas e industriales desafiantes al m\u00e1s alto nivel de experiencia internacional, y cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de cient\u00edficos\/as de diversos pa\u00edses, entre quienes estuvo el <strong>Dr. Manuel Solano Palma<\/strong>, investigador del <a href=\"http:\/\/dsalt.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Proyecto Anillo \u2018dsalt\u2019 Matem\u00e1tica computacional para procesos de desalinizaci\u00f3n (ACT 210087)<\/a> de la Agencia Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo, ANID.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El tambi\u00e9n acad\u00e9mico del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Matem\u00e1tica de la Facultad de Ciencias F\u00edsicas y Matem\u00e1ticas de la UdeC present\u00f3 la charla &#8216;<em>An Overview of the Transfer Path Method<\/em>&#8216;, en el minisimposio titulado <em>&#8216;Approximated boundary methods: modelling, mathematical analysis and simulations<\/em>&#8216;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHace algunos meses, los organizadores del minisimposio nos escribieron a Ricardo Oyarz\u00faa y a mi invit\u00e1ndonos a dar una charla&#8221;, explic\u00f3 el Dr. Solano sobre las gestiones para su participaci\u00f3n. \u201cComo el tema est\u00e1 relacionado con lo que he venido trabajando hace cerca de 10 a\u00f1os, decid\u00ed aceptar la invitaci\u00f3n para mostrar los avances que he obtenido. B\u00e1sicamente, se trata de un minisimposio dedicado a m\u00e9todos num\u00e9ricos para resolver ecuaciones diferenciales parciales en dominios no poli\u00e9dricos mediante mallas que no se ajustan a dicho dominio\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Respecto los principales resultados de su presencia en ENUMATH, el tambi\u00e9n investigador asociado del Centro de Modelamiento Matem\u00e1tico, CMM, de la U. de Chile, afirm\u00f3 que \u201cuno de los investigadores que nos invit\u00f3, Alexei Lozinski de la Universit\u00e9 de Franche-Comt\u00e9 de Francia, trabaja en el mismo tema que yo, por lo que aprovechamos a compartir ideas y pensar en c\u00f3mo podr\u00edamos mejorar los m\u00e9todos existentes. Esto puede llevar a una colaboraci\u00f3n en el futuro\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPor otro lado\u201d, destac\u00f3, \u201ctuve la oportunidad de conversar con dos de las invitadas plenarias del WONAPDE 2024, las investigadoras Ilaria Perugia (Universidad de Viena, Austria) y Sara Zahedi (KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Suecia), quienes presentaron sus trabajos en el ENUMATH2023\u201d.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAdem\u00e1s, varios participantes me manifestaron su inter\u00e9s en participar del WONAPDE, lo cual reafirma su prestigio internacional\u201d, concluy\u00f3.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al respecto, el Director de Proyecto Anillo <strong>\u2018dsalt\u2019<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Ricardo Oyarz\u00faa Vargas<\/strong>, afirm\u00f3 que \u201cla destacada participaci\u00f3n del Dr. Solano en el evento ENUMATH, se suma a la importante actividad internacional de los investigadores de nuestro proyecto.
